This place, Williamstown, has a spirit. Those of you who have joined us over the past 55 years know what I’m talking about. It is a spirit that is built from the hard work and talent of our many festival members, supported by the passion of our hosts —Williams College and Williamstown, MA—and invigored by the energy of you, our loyal audiences. Our Arts Blog brings you an inside look at how this spirit comes to be and provides you with a behind-the-scenes tour of all of the shows and events that go on here at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
On this blog, you will find backstage information about not only our Main Stage and Nikos Stage shows, but also the many special events that populate our season, from Free Theatre to Cabarets to Fellowship Projects, and more. There are interviews with the artists, dramaturgical research, special features, photos and many more glimpses into what makes WTF tick. You even have the chance to read all about our company members and the different educational programs we offer like internships, apprenticeships, and the Greylock Theatre Project.
